Did you uninstall the old drivers? Results 1 to cafd of Please let us know how it works out for you. My issue was that although Genesys driver under USB controller tree was installed from the official download page for my GJT, I got a “bad device” under the “disk drives” tree in device manager.
When the SD card is not connected the error 45 code is present. I can’t recall asua time when this card reader ever worked. Only when I put in an SD card does it give that there is an unknown device.

The first time I tried his suggestion it didn’t work then I realized I might not have upgraded the Intel drivers even though Assu had the latest downloaded.

That is a working solution – it solved my problem so thanks again: Here is a thread of several others having the same issue, mainly with Asus products it reeader. Page 1 of 2 1 2 Last Jump to page: I am having a different problem. But, that is annoying, so I went looking for a better solution.
After the reboot from installing them his suggestion of changing drivers f3j; the card reader to a mass storage device.

Use Device Manager to update the driver. I’ve still had no luck with this. Any help or suggestions are most welcome. On my GJT this does not work readeg and I tried those fix drivers and still nothing.
